At your location, 10 Hour General Industry Course
This course is part of the OSHA Outreach Training and
participants who successfully complete the course will receive a 10 Hour
General Industry card directly from OSHA. The course reviews the
hazards associated with general industry through a review of OSHA
regulations and focuses on the prevention of injuries associated with the
hazards. The course can be
held in one long day, or in a day and a half. The course can be
tailored to meet your company specific needs. Please contact SHE Solutions, LLC to schedule this course.
This course can be scheduled at your
facility.
The course is conducted using
digitally projected PowerPoint presentations, hands on equipment
demonstrations, videos, and classroom discussions.
SHE Solutions, LLC will conduct the one
day, 10 Hour training, at your facility on a Saturday, for the following price:

cost savings benefit of an on site course is that your attendees may not
have to travel. Instead, you only pay for the instructors travel.

course completion card does not expire. Some General Industry companies
may not accept the card if it has been over three years since the card was
issued. Five years may the maximum life of the card for other companies.

DESIGNATED TRAINING TOPICS |
|
10-HOUR
GENERAL INDUSTRY
OUTREACH
TRAINING PROGRAM
|
The 10-hour
program is intended to provide a variety of General Industry safety and
health training to entry level workers.
Of the below
topics, six hours are mandatory and two hours must be chosen from the
optional topic list. For
the remainder
of the class, I can teach any other general industry hazards or policies
and/or expand on the required topics.
Instructional
time must be at least 10 hours.
The 10-hour classes are
intended for workers. Therefore I emphasize hazard identification,
avoidance, control and
prevention,not OSHA standards.

Two Training
Days as a 10 Hour Course option:
This
course is a better learning experience if it is taught as a two day course.
It can be taught as a two day course for an extra $1,200. You can choose
the hours per day split on how you choose to get the 10 classroom hours of
training. There is a higher cost for that because it takes an extra day of
work for the instructor.
