SSTA 16 Hour Construction Course - At Your Location About SSTA: The purpose of the Arizona based non-profit SSTA is to improve safety awareness and performance on construction job-sites. SSTA is made up of manufacturing companies, general and specialized contractors, building trades/crafts organizations, educational entities, municipalities and others with a keen interest in safety. Working together, they establish, maintain and provide standardized safety training and record keeping that is crucial to businesses that must keep safety at the forefront. Contractors that perform work on SSTA Member sites in Arizona require the SSTA card for contractor’s workers. Member’s sites include Central Arizona Project, Phoenix AZ; Intel, Chandler, AZ; Medtronic Tempe AZ; Microchip, Tempe, AZ; On Semiconductor, Phoenix, AZ, and TRW Vehicle Safety Systems, Queen Creek, SSTA Mission Statement "To provide standardized safety training for the purpose of improving safety awareness and performance on the job site. An alliance of industry, labor, contractors, trades/crafts, and educational groups are providing a service to the community and supporting safety performance." SSTA Goals The Alliance's goal is to assist in providing a trained contractor work force for companies and ensuring that safety training meets the OSHA Construction Safety (OSHA 29CFR1926) standards and the OSHA General Industry (OSHA 29CFR1910) standards. |

At your location, SSTA 16 Hour Construction Course This course is the SSTA 15 Hour Course and 1 Hour Test, designed to provide standardized safety training for the purpose of improving safety awareness and performance on the job site. The course includes the OSHA 10 Hour Construction class plus some General Industry safety information for contractors that perform work at multiple locations. This course is part of the OSHA Outreach Training and participants who successfully complete the course will receive an SSTA Wallet Card, and a 10 Hour Construction card from OSHA. The course reviews the hazards associated in construction through a review of OSHA regulations and focuses on the prevention of injuries associated with the hazards. The course is a two day course. Please contact SHE Solutions, LLC to schedule this course. The course can also be scheduled at your facility. SHE Solutions, LLC will conduct the two day, 16 Hour training, at your facility, for the following price per attendee. (SSTA Member Companies.) The price includes course materials:
10 Person minimum for course pricing.
FYI, the SSTA Membership fee for Contractors / Suppliers / Vendors is $500.
With the non-member student fee $75 higher per attendee, it would be cost
effective to join SSTA if you are going to have 7 or more employees go
through training each year. It is great to join SSTA even if you have less
employees training, to support the SSTA safety effort.
