At your location, 24 Hour and 40 Hour HAZWOPER Courses

Course Overview:

The 24 and 40 Hour  HAZWOPER Courses can be scheduled at your facility, and tailored to your site hazards.  The safety training topics are presented in an interesting and informative adult learning format.  The instructor is Ken Mushet.  Mr. Mushet has over eightteen years experience, and he is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and a Registered Environmental Manager (REM).

The  24 and 40 Hour  HAZWOPER Courses meet and exceed OSHA requirements for training of employees in hazardous waste operations outlined in 29 CFR 1910.120(e).  These courses are for hazardous waste site workers, consultants, equipment operators, contractors, managers, supervisors, and technicians.

The 24 Hour HAZWOPER course is held in over three 8 hour days. 

The 40 Hour HAZWOPER course is held over four 10 hour days, or five 8 hour days.  This course includes a Spill Response Drill with Level A (fully encapsulated spill suits), Level B, and Level C Protection. 

Each attendee will receive a Wall Certificate.

Instructor:

The course will be taught by Ken Mushet, CSP.  Mr. Mushet has over seventeen years experience in safety, and is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.  He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology, majoring in Safety from Arizona State University and a MBA/TM (Technology Management) from the University of Phoenix.

Mr. Mushet is a Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).   He has taught Occupational Safety Principles and Practice courses at Gateway Community College.  Ken is the President and Principal Consultant for SHE Solutions, LLC, a small business.  Ken has taught many OSHA safety courses, and enjoys teaching the HAZWOPER courses.

Course Logistics:

The course will be held at your facility, or a nearby hotel training room.  The course will be presented using PowerPoint presentations, videos, lecture, classroom activities, and hands on demonstrations. 

A training room with a minimum of a blank spot on the wall for the PowerPoint and Video presentations is requested.  A TV/VCR in the room is appreciated.  The Wall Certificates can be issued on the day the course ends.

The 24 Hour HAZWOPER course will be scheduled at your facility for the following price, which includes course materials:

Up to 20 People                                $ 5,100 *

Each additional attendee                 $    250

40 Hour HAZWOPER Pricing

The 40 Hour HAZWOPER course will be scheduled at your facility for the following price, which includes course materials:

Up to 12 People                                $ 8,500 *

Each additional attendee                 $    400

40 Hour HAZWOPER option of 24 Hour Online and 16 Hours at your site.  Under this option, each attendee would
take the 24 Hour Online Course through the link at the top of the page.  The two remaining days (16 Hours)
would be held at your site.   Pricing would be each persons online 24 Hour HAZWOPER price ($ 250), and
$3,200 for the two days onsite.  (up to 20 people in the onsite class).
