Objective/
Motivation
The objective of the
Mock OSHA inspection is to identify safety program deficiencies and
hazards. Corrective action can then be taken prior to a serious injury or a
costly OSHA citation. Injuries can cause personal suffering, increased
workers’ compensation costs, overtime costs, and reduced morale. Serious
OSHA citations can range from $7,000 each, and up to $25,000 in California. (Depending on the
hazard gravity, business size, history, and good faith.) A single OSHA
Inspection can cost tens of thousands of dollars in citation penalties.
Service
A Certified Safety
Professional (CSP) will conduct a comprehensive inspection of your Facility
or Job Site. The inspection will include a review of OSHA 300 logs, Written
Safety Program, MSDS Management, Employee Training, and a Walk Though
Observation of Unsafe Behaviors and Conditions. Outsourced Corporate Safety
Inspections services are available.
A written report
containing the OSHA Standard reference, non-compliances with photos, and
recommendations will be provided within a week of the inspection. A verbal
report with no pictures can be made instead of the written report. The Mock
OSHA Inspection report will be sent as a pdf. file via E-mail.
A Mock OSHA inspection
takes one day on-site, for an average sized facility or job site.
